Why should you come to a Borealis Bullseyes Meeting?
1. History speaks for itself - Youth Shooters who attend National Competitions measurably improve their performance, confidence and enjoyment for the sport.
2. This is NOT a Service High School club or team - the Borealis Bullseyes represents all Anchorage/Eagle River youth interested in shooting, both sporter and precision.
3. Borealis Bullseyes provides an opportunity and space for youth to shoot "off school season" in order to prepare for at least three National Competitions:
National Guard, American Legion and Junior Olympics.
4. Borealis Bullseyes is open to adults and students. Youth are encouraged to become involved and attend the monthly meetings.
5. The club is organized for the following purpose and needs PARENT / ADULT volunteers:
The purpose of this organization, generally known as the Borealis Bullseyes Shooting Club, hereafter referred to as the Borealis Bullseyes, shall be to offer youth development opportunities through shooting sports and prepare junior shooters for national competition. Volunteer effort from the community shall provide club leadership and team coaching. The Borealis Bullseyes shall solicit donations and raise funds to purchase, rent or lease equipment, supplies, space, transportation and other expenses as identified and approved by the board of directors to promote the development of student athletes. The Borealis Bullseyes shall sponsor matches from time to time and charge entry fees to cover costs and provide for awards. Additional events and activities that support shooting sports and the athletic development program may be added as desired. The Borealis Bullseyes shall also be a USA Shooting club and affiliates of the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).
